Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CyberSec Pro platform. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms in full.

Authorization warning

CyberSec Pro tools are powerful security testing instruments. You must have explicit written authorization from the system owner before scanning any target. Unauthorized scanning breaches these Terms and may be a criminal offence under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA), the UK Computer Misuse Act and comparable legislation elsewhere.

1. Account registration

  • • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • • One account per individual. Sharing accounts is prohibited.
  • • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • • You are responsible for the security of your credentials and API keys.
  • • You are liable for all activity carried out under your account.

2. Subscription and pricing

Enterprise

  • • Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude any applicable sales tax or VAT, which is calculated at checkout.
  • • Payments are processed by Stripe. The payment methods available to you are the ones Stripe offers for your country at checkout.
  • • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the billing period.
  • • Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if no scans have been run.

3. Authorized use

You may use CyberSec Pro exclusively for:

  • • Security assessments of systems you own, or have written authorization to test.
  • • Producing compliance and vulnerability reports for your organisation.
  • • Education and research, with proper authorization.

4. Prohibited activities

The following are strictly prohibited and lead to immediate account termination:

  • ✕ Scanning systems without explicit written authorization from the owner.
  • ✕ Using the platform for denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks or any other malicious activity.
  • ✕ Attempting to bypass platform security controls, rate limits or plan restrictions.
  • ✕ Reselling, sublicensing or redistributing access to the platform or its tools.
  • ✕ Storing or transmitting malware through the platform's infrastructure.

5. Service availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced 48 hours in advance. A custom service level agreement, including any service credits for downtime, is available to Enterprise customers on request and is agreed separately; it is not part of the standard plans.

6. Intellectual property

All platform code, design, documentation and branding belong to CyberSec Pro. Scan results and reports you generate belong to you. Integrated open-source tools remain subject to their own licences (GPL, MIT, Apache and others).

7. Limitation of liability

CyberSec Pro is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damage, including data loss, service interruption, or the consequences of unauthorized scanning.

8. Termination

  • • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard.
  • • We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms.
  • • Export your data whenever you like while the account is active: reports download as PDF or HTML, and a full account export is available in JSON. Confirming account deletion erases everything immediately, with no grace period — so export first.
  • • Independently of any of this, scan results are deleted 90 days after the scan and audit logs after 12 months, as set out in the Privacy Policy.
  • • Prohibited activity results in immediate termination, with no notice period.

These Terms are published in several languages for your convenience. If the versions differ, the English text is the one that applies.
